Farewell to Nina

FAREWELL TO NINA GLENCROSS ARTICLE PDF

It was with great surprise, back in March, that Nina announced that she would be leaving her job as Public Engagement Manager with Dacorum Heritage.

Nina said: “I have been offered a new role at another museum and therefore I will be leaving Dacorum Heritage from 5th April 2024.

I’ve been with the Trust for 16 years now and have really enjoyed my time working with all of you and being a part of this amazing team.

Some of the projects we have created here have been really interesting and awarding and I want to express my gratitude for all the support and hard work that you all have shown during my time here.

While I am sad to be leaving Dacorum Heritage, I am excited for the new experiences that await me at my new role.  I’m happy to share with you that I will be moving to Discover Bucks Museum, to be their Head of Collections, Keeper of Social History.

I am, at heart an ‘emel girl and therefore I’ll be keenly watching the developments of Dacorum Heritage in the future.  Hopefully, this means our paths cross again at any future public events or activities”.

Everyone at Dacorum Heritage will miss Nina’s creative enthusiasm and expert knowledge of the collections.  Remembering all the innovative projects and exhibitions she introduced to the company will remain part of our collective pride.

Nina’s new job will give her the opportunity to develop her creative talents in a new and more challenging direction.  We all wish Nina well in her new position and maybe in the future we could perhaps do a collaborative project with Discover Bucks Museum.
