Second World War – The Home Front

This loan box will help teachers to illustrate what life was like during WWII. A gas mask, ration book and newspapers highlight the reality of everyday life in war time while military paraphernalia such as medals, badges and whistles evoke the experiences of those who served.

The box also includes suggested ideas and resources for activities which range from role play character cards to song sheets. It also contains other interactive elements such as a CD recording of an APR warden.
