Dacorum Heritage are working with Katya Belaia-Selzer Studio, who are currently undertaking conservation on two oil paintings within the collection.
Katya has started work on one of the paintings, as she cleans away the old varnish and almost 100 years of dirt to reveal a beautiful white shirt.
This process will take many months of painstaking work as she cleans and stabilises the two paintings.
