Explore the Collection at Dacorum Heritage's Open Store Events
For the first time in five years, Dacorum Heritage is opening its doors, so you can explore its collections in a series of open store events and guided tours. With small displays of Ovaltine art and archaeological treasures from the local area, and behind-the-scenes tours, you can learn about the objects in our museum and how we look after them.
Open Store: The Art of Ovaltine
Friday 18 July, 11am-3pm
Visit a small display of the Art of Ovaltine and discover how we are looking after this archive. Take a guided tour around the museum store.
Pre-booking required: display is free, tours £ 4.00 (+ booking fee) for ages 8 + who must be accompanied by an adult.
Open Store: The Festival of Archaeology
Wednesday 30 July, Thursday 31 July, Friday 1 August, 11am-3pm
Visit Dacorum Heritage for a small display of some of the archaeological treasures found in Dacorum, from prehistory to Roman villas and also a medieval palace.
Pre-booking required: display is free, tours £ 4.00 (+ booking fee) for ages 8 + who must be accompanied by an adult.
